At RevUp, we have developed an incredibly effective process that consists of a sequence of four steps: Assess, Build, Execute, and Transition. We have found this helps us achieve your goals together – but you’re in the driver’s seat, and you can opt-in to whatever you need. If you already have a plan and just want us to run it, hire us for Execute. If you want our recommendations for how to grow your business and then do the work with your own team, hire us for Assess. It’s all up to you.

Assess

The first thing we do is get to know your business inside and out. Because our entire orientation is to ensure our efforts drive the results you hope to see, this phase is critical. Our in-depth assessment helps us get to know your customers (and targets), processes, team, vendors, and – most importantly – your specific goals.

The most important outcome of the “Assess” phase is your growth plan. We’ll build you a plan that we truly believe will optimize your chances of reaching your goals, and an outline of the assets, expertise, and capacity needed to execute on that plan. At the end of the Assess phase, the growth plan is yours. We would love to work with you on the execution (see below for more details) but clients are free to take the plan we build and tackle execution internally if they wish.

Assess phase deliverable: Strategic growth plan
Phase is successful if: Client is excited,invested in the plan, and is ready to move forward with the building of assets required to achieve the goals of the plan.

02

Build

Once we all agree on where we’re going, we get to work building all the infrastructure, assets, and people we’ll need to get there. For most clients, this means a digital refresh or new build (website, social, etc), a content bank, some language and graphics, implementation of a CRM and marketing automation platform and maybe some brand work. It also usually involves bringing together experts and specialists from our networks, from your in-house team or agency, or a combination of both.

Build phase deliverables:

01. An assembled team ready to execute (in-house, external, or hybrid).
02. Operational processes and structures to ensure strong execution
03. Other deliverables vary by project, but might include digital assets, brand/logo, CRM/database, content bank, etc.

Phase is successful if: We have what - and who - we need to execute on the approved plan

Execute

This is where the real fun begins. Since we’ve already spent so much time together, we’re totally in sync and ready to go. Together, we’ve built a rock-solid plan, a strong foundation of assets, and the right expert team – external or in-house. 

We’re not satisfied with a beautiful website or 10k facebook likes: we are only happy when our marketing strategies produce real business results. For most companies, this means revenue.

And since we’re not satisfied until our efforts are producing the growth you hope to see, we stay alongside you until you feel like you’re winning – over and over again.

Build phase deliverables: Variable, depending on marketing plan.
Phase is successful if: We’re hitting the milestones and targets as outlined in your marketing plan.

PHASE

04

Transition

When you feel great about what we’ve done together, you have a choice: we can continue working together as long as you need us, or we can help you transition your marketing function to a permanent in-house team. When you’re ready, we’ll help you craft a job description and run the search. We may also be able to recommend great candidates from our network.

Of course, all this happens on your timeline. We won’t part ways until you feel your team is ready to take on the ongoing management of your marketing effort. We are also happy to continue to support you in an advisory capacity as long as you need.

Transition phase deliverables: A successfully executed plan and a fully trained and capable team.
